Shown in films and commercials or seen on the side of the road and skate ski, skate is a relatively new sport that has found its way into the culture mainstream American. Once it was difficult to find or create areas in which to skate, but now the cities are full of areas designated for skating in order to accommodate the skaters. Despite the large number of skaters and skate companies today, the origins of skateboarding and the invention of the skateboard and full of mystery.
It has been argued the skateboards first emerged in the 1930s and 1940s when children ride soap box carts attached to skates (skate boards). Removing the casing would table a table with wheels or what might be called a skate deck. However, others suggest that skateboarding is an adaptation of a dismantled skating, that is, the wheels were taken from a skate and added to a table, a move that was influenced by surfers and their desire to recreate the movement surf on land. Both theories possible origins have been argued in the historical texts, magazines, and even on the big screen in documentaries and on the street.
However, we do know retail skateboard first appeared in 1958 and was sold by Bill and Mark Richards of Dana Point, California. Was then mass produced and remodeled in the late 1960. The blank value, or cover, it was often in the form of a surfboard solid wood or plastic. Some metal plates that were created as well. The wheels were often made out of clay or steel and were less resistant to the current version of wheels.
Built in maple 7-ply cross-laminated, most Covers are stable and can handle everyday use and hard game. However, some covers are made of fiberglass, resin, Kevlar, bamboo, aluminum or fiber carbon or plastic components in order to increase stiffness.
The average size deck is 8 inches wide. Some may be as small as 7 inches and others are up to 10.5 inches. Width depends mainly on style and preference. Street skating usually requires a cover that is 7.5 "-8" while which generally covers are used to skate trick. The average length of the table is 29-33 inches long. However, since the covers are known as longboards and are fairly common. They are much longer and have no "kicktails" but are intended to streamline and street skating long road trips or down.
At the top of the deck grip tape is used. Gives the skater the ability to "grip" the cover by creating friction. On one side Grip tape is an adhesive, which is fixed to the deck. On the other side is a principle-like sandpaper. While the general idea and shape of a skateboard is quite common, the main difference on the boards is at the bottom of the deck. The covers may vary from solid colors and patterns with graffiti art. Styles may include logos, phrases, cartoon or movie or comic book characters, the original characters and themes such as aliens, music, animals or skulls and crossbones cross.
