Surfing Birthday question?
I am a surfer, been surfing for about nine years. Im wondering what I get for my birthday of my parents. I have all the surfboards that I might need, I have a longboard (skateboard), wetsuits, rashguards, fins, board bag, balance board, etc. If you could think of nothing else I could get that would be very useful. I also wonder if there is a waterproof camera that I can go surfing with videos home. Is there anything you could think I could get? Thanks
Well, I'm sure I will not be voting as "best answer". but honesty is the best policy. I will assume that you are a teenager. If that's the case, I can understand some of his narcissistic sense of the right, but it is actually quite annoying. You should be thankful for many things: A) that has parents, B) that give a shit that it's your birthday, C) that can afford to give anything other than the card or a kiss and a hug. I was never poor, to the actual standards. But my family never had money to buy toys. Each surfboard I've had since I started at age 14, I paid the money he earned and saved. And I was happy that my mom and dad cared enough to spend their hard earned money to feed, house and clothe me. I would never have been so presumptuous to expect to get a surf or trivial things, like for a birthday. Clothing and school supplies and things and were fine. And believe me, my kids failed to comply with surfboards or surf art either. They are friendly, attentive, helpful features, such as coats pleasant or new clothes. I do not remember anything special, even for big birthdays like 18th birthday, we celebrate with joy beautiful, with great food and beautiful cake. I spent my 21st birthday overseas, and received a card. It's funny, so did my son, and sent him a card very well. Sorry, but a question like his only annoys the hell out of me. I am sure that you are really a nice guy. But being "spoiled" is not attractive.
