Do you have gently used fall and winter items looking for a new home? Join Ottawa South Eco-Action Network (OSEAN), CAFES, and Eco West Enders for a free Swap event on September 13 at Jim Durrell Recreation Centre!

Drop-off items between 9-11 am, and "shop" from 10 am to 2pm!

Come shop for free, even if you have nothing to bring!

We are also looking for volunteers to handle logistics in the run-up and on the day of. Fill out the form below or contact DropSwapOttawa@gmail.com for more information.

✅ We are accepting the following items (maximum of 2 shopping bags per person):

  • Holiday decorations (Fall/Winter/Christmas/ Hannukah/Kwanzaa/etc)

  • Halloween costumes (kids and adults)

  • Children’s winter outdoor clothing

  • Heavy blankets

  • Winter sporting gear (skates, ski poles, toboggans)

  • Dish sets

  • Canning supplies

  • Matched Tupperware

  • Back-to-school small kitchen appliances (rice cookers, pots and pans, etc.)

  • Knitting/Crochet supplies

  • DVDs and DVD players

  • Books

  • Board games

    ❌ We cannot accept the following items:

  • Bulky items too big for a shopping bag

  • Hazardous or electronic waste (paint, batteries, etc)

  • Car seats and bike helmets

  • Items not in working or good condition
