*** A Call Out to Volunteers ***
Hello to all you wonderful volunteers,
We can't thank you enough for your amazing support at OSEAN's Drop and Swap events in 2025 and earlier this year!
While we plan our next Drop and Swap ... we'd like to invite you to support the City of Ottawa's CIRCULAR FAIR 2026 where they will host a CLOTHING SWAP!
The Circular Fair (flyer attached) will be held on Saturday October 10 in the Horticulture Building at Lansdowne Park, and there are several volunteer shifts available leading up to the event (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) to collect and sort the donated items across Ottawa.
Get a feel for volunteering with the City of Ottawa with this wonderful opportunity!
Here is a link to the volunteer sign up Google Form: https://forms.gle/gCiipjFDYNGJnRWu7
Please complete it as best you can, and include any questions you may have on the form and someone will get back to you promptly. THEN you will get connected with City of Ottawa's Volunteer Coordinator for next steps (this is who will sign for any volunteer hours!)
Feel free to pass this along to others you know who need volunteer hours or have an interest in the circular economy, community engagement and reducing textile waste.
See you there!
Warm Regards,
OSEAN

We will meet at the entry point at Kimberwick Crescent and the walk will start at 12:00. Parts of the trail will be flooded so please dress appropriately (i.e. tall rubber boots, not ankle version).

If you would like an orientation in advance, an OSEAN member would be happy to meet individually with you beforehand (in person or online) to give you an overview of our current projects and answer any questions you might have.
